Mourne Rouge 1

Status: Conceptual Design
Project Area: 2, 000 sq.ft.
Project Type: Single Residential

This captivating design sits on a steep slope, offering breathtaking 270-degree views that command the scenery of one of Grenada's most beautiful beaches. The architecture not only takes advantage of the stunning natural surroundings but also integrates seamlessly with the landscape.

Access to the building is a unique experience, with the rooftop parking area serving as the point of entry. This innovative approach not only maximizes the use of space but also provides an elevated arrival experience. Timber stairs, thoughtfully positioned along a natural stone wall, lead from the rooftop parking area to the entrance courtyard, adding an element of organic beauty to the transition.

The strategic placement of bedrooms and their respective en-suite bathrooms on the lowest level is a masterstroke. Each bedroom is granted its own balcony space, providing residents with private retreats that capitalize on the stunning views. The large openings in these spaces not only flood the interiors with natural light but also frame the landscape, ensuring that every moment spent in these rooms is a visual delight.

In essence, this design is a testament to a thoughtful approach that considers both functionality and aesthetics. The rooftop access, seamless indoor-outdoor connection, and the careful positioning of bedrooms all contribute to a residence that not only capitalizes on the unique topography and views but also creates a living experience that is truly harmonious with the natural beauty of Grenada's coastline.
