Project Area: 300 sq.ft.
Project Type: Hospitality
The design brief for this project, focusing on creating a shaded system with undisturbed views of the beach and ocean, has inspired a unique and innovative shading structure. The proposed design combines elements from various traditional shading systems, aiming to provide a solution that mimics the natural shade provided by tree foliage while allowing the sun's rays to filter through, akin to the open design of a pergola.
The umbrella-like structure takes inspiration from nature, seeking to emulate the dappled sunlight and shade experienced beneath a canopy of trees. By strategically arranging slats, the design ensures that views of the sea remain uninterrupted, allowing for a seamless connection between the restaurant area and the beach. This approach not only addresses the functional need for shade but also enhances the overall experience by creating a harmonious link with the natural surroundings.
The emphasis on maximizing views and promoting a connection with the beach aligns with the coastal setting, creating an inviting and immersive environment. The integration of the shading structure contributes not only to the comfort of the space but also to the visual appeal and the overall ambiance of the restaurant area. The design achieves the dual purpose of providing shade and preserving the breathtaking views, creating an inviting and visually captivating space for patrons to enjoy.
